How it works:
- Connect your internal underwriting and loan management system to Ahoy!’s policy management system through our easy to use APIs – fast and easy process
- Add an “insurance quoting” button within the loan consultant’s user interface
- When the right time comes to close the loan and get insurance the loan consultant presses that button. The relevant customer and boat details already existing in your systems are securely sent to Ahoy!’s quote issuing backend – immediate and secure step with no human being privy to the information
- Ahoy!’s policy management system instantaneously underwrites the case and issues a quote
- The quote is sent to the customer by e-mail with the secured link – customer gets a quote while still sitting in front of the loan consultant (or while being on the phone)
- The customer clicks on the link at his/her leisure, is presented three options, can further customize the quote, and go all the way to bind online – smooth, fast, and easy process empowering the customer to bind
- Upon binding your company is automatically added as an additional insured / lien holder on the policy and confirmation is sent to you to file
- DONE!

- You embed that unique link in a “get insurance” button/s and Calls To Action (CTAs) within the marketplace – no technology knowledge needed
- When visitors click on the button/CTA they get redirected to the Ahoy! digital sales funnel – the link allows attributing the lead to your company. The digital funnel could be rebranded under your brand if so desired
- You get access to an analytics portal and sent monthly reports with details about all traffic that came from your systems and website
